Medical Appeals An applicant or employee who has been medically disqualified or restricted may request a review by the Occupational Health Programs' (OHP) Medical Director. As part of this review, the applicant or employee is entitled to present new or additional evidence. For applicants, the request for review must occur while his/her name is on an active eligible list. Requests for review must be made in writing to: Medical Director, Occupational Health Programs The letter requesting the review should clearly state why the applicant or employee believes that OHP's medical determination was incorrect. Upon review, our Medical Director may grant or deny the appeal, or request further medical records or testing. |
