Disability (STD), as one component of Risk Management Branch,
offers up to 26 weeks of income replacement
(less a waiting period)
to disabled County employees enrolled in the MegaFlex benefit program. “Disability,”
for the purpose of STD, means the inability to carry out regular
and customary job duties of the position with the County at the
time and place designated by the County. MegaFlex participants
may receive STD benefits if they are disabled as a result of a
pregnancy and/or either industrial or non-industrial illness or
