OVERVIEW The New Directions Task Force/Interagency Operations Group (NDTF/IOG) Unit supports the collaborative efforts and activities of the County's New Directions Task Force (NDTF) and the Interagency Operations Group (IOG). The NDTF and IOG are charged with forwarding the County's service integration agenda, and promoting the County's vision for children and families by implementing effective integrated services, and generating solutions to remove operational barriers. The unit supports key projects and initiatives, such as: strengthening collaboration between the faith-based community and the County's health and human service delivery system through the Faith-Based Collaboration Council; increasing availability of geographically disbursed, service-enriched housing, through the efforts of the Special Needs Housing Alliance; and developing a "Full-Service School" pilot program for the County, designed to link comprehensive health and human services to schools through the work of the School-Based Linkages Work Group.
