Southern California Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies The Southern California Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (R&R) help parents who are seeking child care and development services. The R&Rs are able to provide parents with information on child care and development centers, licensed family child care homes, and after school enrichment programs. There are 10 agencies serving families in Los Angeles County. In addition, each of the R&Rs administers California Department of Education programs to assist low-income families with their child care costs. To be eligible for assistance, families are required to meet specific income eligibility guidelines. For help locating child care and development services and/or information on services to assist low-income families, contact the R&R agency closest to where you live or work.
