MARY LOU DURAN
RISK MANAGEMENT BRANCH/OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH PROGRAMS
Mary Lou provides secretarial and administrative support for
the Occupational Health Programs. She consistently and enthusiastically
assumes more responsibility in her administrative duties establishing
her as a key member of the Medical Exam Processing team. For
example, she willingly agreed to work with the lead project
physician on the automation of the hearing conservation examination
calculations for the Cal/OHSA compliance purposes.

GRENINGER
SERVICE INTEGRATION BRANCH/DATA INTEGRATION
Mark demonstrates
outstanding ability to work well with others. Mark has a great wealth
of technical knowledge and can explain
technical concepts in clear language so that non-technical managers
can understand the concepts. One example is his work on the
East San Fernando Family Support Center. On this project, he
assisted managers from SIB, DPSS, and DCFS to locate the best
site for the center by including everyone in the decision making
process.

FINANCIAL AND ASSET MANAGEMENT BRANCH/STRATEGIC PLANNING
Mike
consistently goes beyond his immediate assignments to ensure
coordination with others. Examples include: Helping
team members with space planning goals and strategy review.
Anticipating
the needs of BOMB, FAMB and on occasion, he assists SIB staff
when working through space-related issues, including taking
on the responsibilities of working with departmental staff
in devising solutions to those issues. Mike’s generosity
with his time and energies makes him an appropriate role model
for any CAO staff member.
