Teleworking for Safety & Strategic Mobility
LA County has rapidly shifted to teleworking due to COVID-19 in alignment with the County’s Technology Strategic Plan Goal for mobility.
Supporting Department of Health Services with Modeling & Surge Planning
Fei Wu has been deployed to Department of Health Services to assist with modeling for hospital surge planning.
Supporting Department of Public Health with COVID-19 Prevalence
Ricardo Basurto-Davila and Irene Vidyanti assisted the Department of Public Health in determining community prevalence of COVID-19.
Supporting Homeless Initiative with Project Roomkey
Max Stevens and Andy Perry assisted the Homeless Initiative with analysis for Project Roomkey for homeless housing for older adults.
Jennifer Nuno & Mark Greninger are working as Disaster Service Workers (DSW). During emergency events, County employees may be called to act to better meet the needs of the community and ensure the continuity of essential services.

LA County Responsible Reopening
County CIO Bill Kehoe served alongside Internal Services Department to develop a framework to be utilized by County departments as guidance to safely reopen County buildings to the public once the County was able to successfully “flatten the curve.”
