Building Back Better Than Before
The American Rescue Plan, signed into law in March 2021, provides $350 billion in funding for state and local governments to build an equitable economic recovery from the devastating economic effects caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Los Angeles County has embarked on a sweeping effort to address longstanding inequities and transform underserved communities that have been hard hit during the pandemic with investments from the American Rescue Plan Act and other funding sources.
