Women & Girls Initiative Reports

On Tuesday, August 6th, 2019 the LA County Board of Supervisors identified August 2019-August 2020 as the year to commemorate and celebrate the ratification of the United States Nineteenth Amendment, granting all women the right to vote.

Six months later, the LA County Women & Girls Initiative in partnership with the LA County Records Management and Archives team is proud to showcase a timeline with over 100 women who have played a role in shaping our County into the community it is today.

Thank you to all the community leaders, departments, museums, libraries and stakeholders who helped put this together.
