Celebrating Pride Month
June marks Pride Month, a time when Los Angeles County honors the resilience, history, and contributions of our many broad and diverse LGBTQ+ communities. This month, we reaffirm our dedication to equity, belonging, and the ongoing work of expanding access to opportunity for all.
Pride Month traces its roots to the 1969 Stonewall uprising, a pivotal moment in the fight for LGBTQ+ civil rights. Today, Los Angeles County stands proudly with LGBTQ+ Angelenos, recognizing the activists, artists, public servants, families, and youth who continue to shape our region.

Pride at the Park
The County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation (LA County Parks) will celebrate its third annual Pride at the Park throughout the month of June at more than 59 park locations across the county. In partnership with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and local LGBTQIA+ nonprofit organizations, Pride at the Park will feature programming to advance LGBTQIA+ representation and equality through education, performances, and advocacy.
Pride at the Park events will take place on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with each featuring a two-hour program that includes entertainment, giveaways, resource fairs and much more. These events are not just celebrating the diversity and vibrancy of the LGBTQIA+ community but also working tirelessly to create a safe space by collaborating with various organizations and advocates, ensuring that parks remain a place where every individual feels seen, respected, and valued.
LA Pride Parade 2026

And on Sunday, June 14, it’s the world famous 56th Annual LA Pride Parade with over 120 colorful and joyous contingents of bands, dancers, specialty vehicles, floats, marchers, giveaways, celebrities and surprises! The LA Pride Parade draws crowds that are twice the size, and twice the fun of any other regional Pride, with 100% higher television viewership, too!
LA Pride Village is the best destination to grab some merch, a bite, a drink, and vibe with over 140 vendors, exhibitors, sponsors, food trucks, games, activities, and more. Our bar and stage will be brimming with Pride all day long.
