Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month
Hispanic Heritage Month, observed annually from September 15 to October 15, is a time to celebrate the history, culture, and countless contributions of Hispanic and Latino/a/x communities. From arts and education to business, public service, and community leadership, these communities are at the heart of Los Angeles County’s identity and strength.
This month is also an opportunity to affirm our collective responsibility to ensure that dignity, equity, and justice are upheld for all. While challenges persist—including policies that threaten the rights and safety of immigrant communities—Los Angeles County remains steadfast in our commitment to protect every resident, regardless of immigration status. ARDI will continue to affirm its mandate to advance equality and prevent discrimination.
Please tune in to the Board of Supervisors meeting today, September 16, 2025, to learn more about the motion, “Proclaiming Hispanic Heritage Month 2025: Honoring Diversity and Upholding Dignity.”
