Washington, D.C. Advocacy

As part of the County’s Legislative Affairs and Intergovernmental Relations branch, the Washington, D.C. office advocates to advance the County’s federal priorities at the direction of, and constituent with policies adopted by, the Board of Supervisors . The Washington, D.C. office is the County’s primary liaison with the Administration, federal departments and agencies, the U.S. Congress, and other federal partners in protecting federal resources to improve the overall well-being of County residents.
